Yanni [guitar/vocals] is both proud and passionate about the Merseybeat sound. He was born in Liverpool in 1950 and first played at the Cavern Club in 1964 with his band The Seftons. They went on to be very successful and recorded many singles and were very proud to be top of the bill when the Cavern reopened in 1967. In 1997, a commemorative wall of fame was unveiled opposite the Cavern and The Seftons have their own brick in the wall along with the other bands that performed at the legendary club.
Yanni later played at the Mathew Street Festival for seven years running. In 1972, Yanni found further success when he wrote and sang the theme tune to the long running TV show Candid Camera. He recently appeared on BBC crimewatch live with Matt Alwright & Steph McGovern, (nothing sinister!)
With his personality and wealth of experience spanning more than 54 years, Yanni contributes a genuine, reminiscent quality to The Mersey Legends.
Allen [bass/vocals] has enjoyed playing guitar at venues in the UK and abroad, supporting The Wurzels, The Searchers and The Fortunes to name a few. He especially enjoyed performing at Butlins Sixties Festivals and loved working the cruise ships. Allen began playing guitar when he was eleven years old, reaching an accomplished level of ability, evident when he made the seamless switch from rhythm to bass guitar when he joined the band. A gifted craftsman too, he recently built his own bass guitar which he often uses with the band. Allen has an impressive, creative talent and uses this in reproducing the authentic 60s sound for the band.

Rick Daniow: [Drums] joined the Mersey Legends mid 2017 and is a very experienced and accomplished musician. The ‘60s are his favourite era for music, especially the The Mersey Sound, although he has played in many bands, including 70’s & 80’s rock. Born in South London, he spent his childhood there, until the family moved to Berkshire.
He has played in theatres, resorts and clubs across the country, the Birmingham NEC and at 60's weekends and played on the same bill as The Fortunes, The Dreamers, The Swinging Blue Jeans, The Trems, and has been on stage with Kinks drummer Mick Avory.... (albeit to fix his side Tom which had collapsed mid song...) while Mick was playing with the 60s All Stars. During the course of the shows, he's also shared the bill with members, or ex-members of, The Tremeloes, Marmalade and Badfinger.
